Dear friends,

Remember how I wrote last week that I seemed to be getting sick? Well, I'm sick now. Not in a cool way. I still can't do any tricks on a skateboard. No, it's the kind of sick where I wake up at 4 AM coughing and can't get back to sleep.

So, this week's issue was written in a cough syrup-induced delirium. If you're unhappy with its quality, please send your complaints to management.

October always brings two things: Vaccines for me and vaccines for the cats. And pumpkins and spooky movies, but those don't matter right now.

Gigabyte and Millimeter are true angels and are never aggressive unless provoked. So it's a very stressful experience to put them through the process of being examined and stuck with a needle once a year. It's also heartbreaking to see how sluggish they are and how little appetite they have for about 24 hours after getting vaccinated. Poor babies. But it's for their own good, and I don't want them to get seriously ill.

This concludes this year's vaccination season.

Usually, I'm not a big fan of taking the bus, but it's a much better experience with this kind of company. Nothing more to add to this one. It was a dog on a bus. Slow day, apparently.

This has been a thing for years now. It's cute and weird and also annoying. There's no stopping her. When she hears the exercise mat being rolled out, she comes running from wherever she was and stands there, waiting for me to bump my head against her back over and over again. Perhaps she's like one of those dogs that help people having seizures avoid hitting their heads on the floor?

A year ago, I started working on an app that was supposed to make journaling feel like posting on social media. I've been using it ever since, and I absolutely love it. I recently finished working on version 2.0 of Zeitgeist, and somehow, it got even better. I'm not shy about complimenting myself, but this app really is something. I love it.

I haven't been this excited about an iPhone launch since the days when I'd actually get up at 4 AM to line up outside the Apple Store and get my hands on an iPhone 5 or whatever on launch day.

Since then, I've preordered most of my iPhones and always received them on day one. So the fact that, of all iPhones, it's the iPhone Duo I won't be getting on launch day has genuinely put a dent in my mood today.

I went 37 years without ever thinking about wanting larger bottles of shower gel. And then, suddenly, I came to the conclusion that it just doesn't make sense to keep buying those tiny ones. Why don't they sell 2-liter bottles at the store? Turns out, they do. Well, they're only 750 ml, but that's still a huge improvement over the absurd situation I was putting up with before.

This party was supposed to happen more than a month earlier, but we had to postpone it because Anna got sick. That didn't change the fact that it was a huge success. Everyone had a great time, and I loved that Anna and some of my friends got a chance to get to know each other.

That being said, I think somebody infected me with something at the party, because a couple of days later, I got sick myself. But that's the price of spending time with people, I guess. Still better than being alone and lonely in some village somewhere.

That's it cough cough for this week. Thank you for cough reading. See you cough next week! Cough cough cough cough cough
